Le Blues de Jean Lhomme, book-CD published by children's publisher La Joie de Lire (Geneva)
The story of an “everyman”, one of those nameless, homeless fellows,
told by Doctor Blues and Mister Tchatche, blind bluesmen, friends of the crows.
One of them, named Corvus Corax, acts as presenter and sings the blues.
This nameless, homeless man, Mister Tchatche calls him Jean Lhomme.
We cross paths with Jean Lhommes every day.
We readily mistake them for the objects that line the sidewalks of our cities.
We don't see them, or we pretend not to see them, but they see us.
For Jean Lhomme is not an object : he is the watchman of the world...
a musical tale written by Enzo Cormann —
illustrated by Natasha Krenbol —
composed by Jean-Marc Padovani
